Family Time.

Quick post because I am sleepy!

As I mentioned earlier, Eric’s brother and sister in law (Jay and Toni) were in town this weekend, so they came over for dinner with us and Eric’s mom, Nadine.

I was too busy enjoying the family time to really get any family pictures, but of course, the food pictures are there. 🙂

Before dinner I was snacking on a lot of these:

Umm…addictive little things. Do you remember those onion ring chips, like 15 years ago? That’s what the texture of these crackers reminded me of. And I loved those things when I was a kid, so these crackers didn’t stand much a chance.

Lots of this passed around. I love a good red wine.

Please do not assume this was the only glass of the night. Because it really wasn’t. 🙂 (P.S. Hi Jay!)

Gorgeous caprese salad that Nadine made. Tomatoes, mozzarella and basil are one of the best combinations on Earth.

Fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and shrimp for dinner.

Eric wanted an action shot of him grating Parmesan. Why yes, he does bite his nails.

A nice slice of blueberry cheesecake for dessert. You can never go wrong with blueberries. Or cheesecake, for that matter.

Short and sweet post!

All in all, an awesome night catching up with family – but a later one, as it’s almost my bedtime.

<– How often do you get family time?
